Would you like to be more involved in your community?  Are you already involved but would like more support?  The Chorley Partnership are launching the Chorley Community Network to help build stronger and more involved communities with improved access to services.

We have been allocated a small amount of funding to enable us to support the work of new and existing groups, to promote volunteering opportunities in Chorley and raise awareness of the benefits of volunteering.  To do this we need YOUR help. We know that there is already an abundance of good community involvement happening in voluntary, community and faith sector groups in and around Mawdesley and we would like to support them and give them the opportunity to become more involved in the work of Chorley Partnership, so If you are involved in voluntary activity either at your community hall, your local place of worship or out in the community please get in touch so that we can start to build a picture of what is currently happening in Chorley.

We are also running a competition to find a logo for the new Network.  Contact Gael or Sarah (01257 263254) for an entry form or come and see them at Chorley Library on Saturday October 27th between 10am and 2pm.

For further information please contact the Chorley Community Network Volunteer Co-ordinator, Gael Finch, on 01257 263254.
