Little Acorns

Dear Sirs

I am searching for information about John Roscoe, farmer of Bispham
[Green], my 4xgreat grandfather, who died in June 1836.  He had a son,
William Roscoe, a daughter Frances Roscoe, who married Roger Monk, a
saddler, and a son Joseph Roscoe - the two last were certainly born in
Bispham but I cannot trace their baptisms.  Nor can I trace the baptism
of John Roscoe.  I would also like to know whether he had any connection
with Roscow's farm and whether he is the John Roscon[sic] who married
Margaret Smith in Croston in 1789.

Many thanks

Jane Nelson

I am looking for William Houghton born 1826 in Bispham, a basket maker who as an adult moved to Southport. Any information would be welcome. Nadinemoffatt@btinternet.com.
Thank you.
