The Millennium Map of Mawdesley & Bispham is similar to those of Aughton and Scarisbrick. The whole, or a portion of the Map is shown overleaf, but being much reduced, does not show the wealth of detail that can be seen on the print itself.

It is not so much a MAP, like an “A to Z”, - it is a work of art, - in two ways:- the art of bringing together geography, topography, history, current personalities and events, and even wild-life and flora; and then blending them all together to form a delightful picture. You might describe it as a 21st century “Domesday Book” record of Mawdesley and Bispham for future generations to marvel at.

Previous maps have proved a great attraction to members of local families who have now left the district, and especially those now living abroad.

When the limited edition has been taken up, no further printings will be made.

[Only five prints of The Scarisbrick Map remain]

NOTE. The actual print is much larger and clearer than the small one shown above, and all writing can easily be read.

This is a small section of the map; it is towards the bottom right hand corner of the main map.

DIMENSIONS AND SPECIFICATIONS OF THE PRINT.

The prints will be 24” X 18” on heavy 350 gsm paper. Printed in full colour in light-safe inks to Fine Art Society standards. Each print signed and numbered, and wrapped flat unless requested in a postal tube for dispatch outside the district, or framed.
