We managed to raise about £400 for Rainbow House at the Open Day. Thank you for all your help and support.

For our next event we are planning a "Massage-a-thon" in aid of the Arthritic Association in late October. More details to follow.

We recently organised an Open Day to raise funds for Rainbow House. This is a charitable organisation which helps disabled children to help themselves through the provision of conductive education, which is a unified system of rehabilitation for children with neurological disorders like cerebral palsy and genetic conditions. They provide an environment where disabled children can develop skills and enjoy experiences, usually denied them, through a regime to enhance mobility, speech, self-help skills and social ability.

The Open Day took place at, "Nu U Spa", The Bungalow @ Th’owd Stables, Hall Lane, Mawdesley on Saturday, 1st September between 10am and 4pm. Admission was free and the following happened on the day:-

- BBQ, Home made cakes and freshly squeezed fruit juices in our "Tea Garden".

- Face Painting and a Treasure Hunt for the children.

- Hydrojet Spa

- Taster treatments of a Facial or Back, Neck & Shoulder massage or a Hand treatment

- Meditation sessions

- Angel Cards

- Crystal Readings

It is also my tenth anniversary of providing Holistic and Beauty treatments within the local community.

If you need to contact me regarding any aspect of the Open Day you can telephone me on 01704 823219.
