Dear Friends,
I've at last managed to acquire a nice photo of
our Skateboard Park Opening Day.
It was a little wet, but nothing could dampen
our spirits and sense of satisfaction and relief.
Thank you all for your help and support.
Kindest regards,
Rod
Dear Friends,
In case you have not already heard, the
Millennium Green Trust has recently given TRIX the go-ahead to sight a
combined skateboarding, roller-blading and stunt bike facility on the Green,
not far from the kiddies play area (See location plan below).
TRIX has put a considerable amount of
energy into raising the money for this amenity over the last two years and the
Trustees have been equally careful to ensure that this new facility is well
designed, safe, affordable, sustainable and in-keeping with the aims of the
Green and the Trust.
The work, to be supervised by TRIX, will
begin in May, once our path-widening job has been done, and it should take no
more than 3 weeks to complete.
I sincerely hope that everyone's efforts
will be well rewarded by seeing our youngsters enjoying a new and challenging
activity this summer, within the secure environment of the Green.
Kind regards,
Rod
Chair of the Trust
